I don’t believe that they’ve the time, nor inclination, nor necessary degree to psychoanalyze me as I walk by. I think it’s more likely that they recognize me as a member of their socioeconomic class who is tall, skinny, attractive, and dressed to go out for the night; and that they are behaving as drunken twenty-somethings will.
